Subprocessors

We use a small set of vendors to run filesnare.com. Each is bound by their own terms and handles only the data needed for their slice of the service. We may add or change vendors over time; updates land on this page.

Current subprocessors

Neon. Managed PostgreSQL database for account data, file requests, and metadata.
Cloudflare R2. Object storage for uploaded files. Files are encrypted at rest.
Upstash. Managed Redis for session storage and rate limiting.
Vercel. Hosting and compute for the web app and API.
Postmark. Transactional email — sign-in magic links and upload notifications.
Inngest. Durable background jobs — cleanup, virus scanning, and notification delivery.
Sentry. Error monitoring. Stack traces and request metadata only; no file contents.

Changes to this list

When we add or remove a vendor, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. If you're using filesnare.com in a context where you need advance notice of subprocessor changes, get in touch.
